Ear Lobe Repair

Ear lobe repair is a minor surgery done to correct the deformities in the earlobe due to an accident or those who have stretched out or torn or split ear lobes. It can be done by done by two ways flesh tunnel repair surgery or split earlobe repair surgery. Both procedures are done under local anesthesia and have minimal side effects.

1.Who are the patients for ear lobe repair?

Patients with wide ear holes, more than 8mm or those with stretched out ear lobes due to wearing heavy earrings.

It is very safe procedure. There are no major side effects. Patient can feel mild discomfort or pain.

An antibiotic cream is given to apply to the area of surgery. Patients have to wait for 3 to 6 months to get their ear pierced again depending on the healing.
