PUVA (PSORALEN + UVA)
PSORALEN is photosensitizing agent used with UVA light for treatment of multiple dermatological conditions. Psoralen is given orally and after 2 hours patients are exposed to UVA light. The treatment should be done twice or thrice a week. Patients are advised strict sunprotection for atleast 5 to 6 hours after treatment.
