1.What is the treatment regimen? / How many treatments are generally required? How far apart?

The number of session is decided by the bulk of adipose tissue, the extent of skin sagging and the desired result. Usually 2 sessions are needed at an interval of 3 months. Maintenance once in a year can be done to sustain the result.

No permanenet sideeffects are noted. Mild pain and stinging sensation can be felt.

Post procedure redness settles in an hour. The patient is asked to avoid laughing and chewing too much for the day.

It does not cause major discomfort. You may feel some discomfort, warm or heat sensation or slight pain for a few seconds when the probe is applied. The level of discomfort depends on the settings used, area being treated and the individual sensitivity. Around the eyes and bony region discomfort is more intense. Neck region is best tolerated with HIFU.

As wound healing and collagen remodeling takes 2 to 3 weeks, the patients will see only 10% result in 1st month, another 10% in 2nd month and 80% result in 3rd month.

There may be slight redness for few hours and small percentage of patients may have slight swelling, tingling and tenderness. But these are temporary in nature.
